The War Theater of 1990

Honors 228 and Honors 238:

The epicenter of the battlefield of the Honors Program War at the University of Massachusetts at Boston: Spring 1990.  Honors 228 -- Robert H. Spaethling, Instructor.  MOZART IN VIENNA.  Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm. Phyllis Wheatley Hall, First Floor, Room 020.  Hon. Wilmot Max Ramsay, Secretary of the Honors Program, "the first person of color" (to the Honors Program), triumphed after a "trumped up" charge of plagiarism involving Fiora A. Bassanese, the instructor of Honors 238 -- IMAGES OF WOMEN IN ITALIAN CULTURE.  This latter Class was also held in Room 020 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 1:30 pm and 2:20 pm.  James F. Brennan, the current Provost at Catholic University of America, CUA, served as Director.  Secretary Wilmot Max "Little David" Ramsay would suffer "shock" and fatigue -- later -- post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the War.  Sherry H. Penney was Chancellor.
